Quick Start Guidance
- Create your album first, then upload files.
- For faster support, include your username and the album/folder URL in your message.
- A folder and its albums can each have a guest password. Use the same password on both. If they differ, visitors may be asked twice.
Pro tips
Small habits that make your pages easier for visitors and calmer for you to manage.
- Pick a theme you love under Personalize; repeat it on folders and set comfortable defaults under Global Settings so new albums start out looking right.
- On an open album, open Album Properties (Properties on the Album Bar) to try Auto columns, Auto images per page, and each album viewer on the live page.
- Want an even bigger punch than the usual large defaults? Bump thumbnails or the first enlarged size up or down another step when you edit the album.
- Add a welcome title and welcome message, and confirm how your display name appears to visitors.
- To maximize thumbnail display, in Global Settings, set Page width to Full Browser Width. Use "Auto" for both Columns and Images Per Page.
- To have an anonymous folder link, create a folder with Linked albums. Share album links or the entire folder URL with Share Link.
- Photos and videos from phones and cameras usually record orientation in EXIF (still images) or similar embedded metadata (many videos); ImageEvent displays them right-side up automatically in albums and the viewer (Original and Enhanced). Use Rotate on the Image Bar only when you want to change how the file is stored.
