I am selecting for an upbeat rat terrier type disposition, balanced confirmation and lastly, color. My ideal size would be the smaller mini, with decent bone and muscle. just the right size for home and yard type of living.
2007 has given me the opportunity to make some changes, that i had wanted to make earlier. typey dogs, smaller size, packed full of the rat terrier characteristics, without extremes.
I will be selecting for sensible, laid back dispositions, that are capable of turning it on and also off.......cheerfully!!..... No hyper, whimpy, anxiety prone dogs here..............
All breeders have goals, and i have chosen mine to produce the calmest, most reasonable, little rat terriers, that i can. I find these types are much more accepted into all types of
households. they will still mouse for you and guard your home, but are easily settled down, when asked.
These little dogs will sleep in your bed or out in the barn, they will hunt mice, nap on the porch and warn you of intruders day or nite.
In today's life, this is the best security device you will ever own.
they love kids and grownups alike and are perfect grandparents babysitters.
Just imagine, no grooming parlor bills 3 or 4 times a year. These little guys are easy care models......... Dog food bills are at a minimum, no fancy stuff needed, pooper scooper cleanup time can be counted in minutes........
Each and everyone of my breeding dogs will have their health check plus their patellas and cardiac checked by our local vet and results posted. puppies will have dew claws removed and tails docked, will have been wormed and shots started.

JUST PEACHY (DOB 15 SEPT. 2006)and she is just peachy..11"tall..Peachy comes from the Fariss Farms in Gaston, Oregon. peachy weighs 11lbs. she will be bred next heat, patellas checked out very tight. she is bred to this beautiful male, Dango. pictures below. puppies expected in May..............hoping for lots of colors.

Nice small balanced size.NOTE: he is by a grandchampion and out of a grandchampion!
He has an excellent disposition and confirmation plus a perfect bite.
He is such an easy going guy, stays home on the farm and never gets into any trouble. a pleasure to have around. He's just the right size for suburban living.
