A great loss, a young man who followed in the same footsteps of legendary paratroopers of old, who fought and stood up for the same principles which this great nation was founded upon. Having served as a trooper for 21 years myself, and losing so much over the years, in the wars and conflicts that I served in; I know what the family has gone through in these years past. My love and hearts go out to all of the family in their great loss. My son, a paratrooper as well, is in his third tour in Iraq now, and should be home by Christmas of this year, my prayers are that I don’t share the same fate as this great family, but if so, I know that my son stands for the same principles that I taught him and he stands for this great country of ours, same as Chris did. Great men are not born; they become great men by their actions alone. My love and condolences to this great family and all the families who have suffered this type of loss. Support our troops, honor our veterans. Gonzales, T. Dear Mason Family, Chris touched a lot of people, both here is the unit and abroad. The world we walk seems a little darker with him not around. I remember all the times he would come up to me and ask, in that deep southern drawl, "whats your favorite book?" I still don't have an answer for him. I know hes in a better place, and he will be there to greet us with a hug and a smile. Maybe I'll have an answer for you then Chris. Godspeed till we form again. - SPC Chandler, Gregory j, Fri, 25 Apr 2008 5:17AM

Your son's life was not given in vain. He sacrificed his life for the ideals of love of God and love of neighbor. Your son wanted to see a better world for people to live in - a world where oppression, fear, and despair do not rule, but one where hope, peace, love and kindness reign. That's where freedom is, and that is why your son is free today. Your son's commitment will be remembered, and his sacrifice will be honored. May God bless you, comfort you, and give you peace. - Dr. Gary Morse | www.myspace.com/pastorgary1, Wed, 16 Apr 2008 12:30AM

Thank you for sharing Chris's story with the world, and in such an awesome way. Your tribute to him reveals how truly blessed you are, and you are proving that your loss has a purpose. I keep finding myself drawn to this page and when I come here I may watch the same videos, read the same things for a second or even a third time but each time I think makes me a little more humble and a little more grateful.Chris was and always will be an amazing young man with strong convictions.I am honored to be on his page and I think the only bigger honor I could possibly have had was to know him.I am sure everyone that he came into contact with walked away with something that made their life a little richer.God bless him and you for sharing this very special man with us.My best~ Debby - Debby, Fri, 11 Apr 2008 3:03PM

It is only because of the sacrifice of so few that so many live so free. Please know your honor and service is known by far more than say so. Stand tall, despite the absence of awareness, protect the sheep, despite their ignorance, for honor surrounds you while you embody the principles of Jesus Christ. I happen to find this fallen hero on Codie Prevost's myspace page while perusing his comments. I felt compelled to click on Chris's picture and I am so glad I did. Dear Mr. and Mr. Mason: I shared Chris's website with my 9 yr old whose name is Mason. Mason has wanted to be a soldier since I can remember. I've always spoken very frankly about war, its neccessity, and the sacrifice it sometimes demands. Yet he remains confident that he wants to serve his country. As we looked at the website, Mason was so moved by all the great things Chris had done and we read everything and watched all the videos and cried together. He wanted to tell you how proud he is of Chris and to thank you for your sacrifice. As parents, we are no better than any other parents who have sent their children off to war. When the time comes, I, too, will send my son into the service of his country with all the patriotism and bravery I see in you. Thank you for this wonderful tribute to Chris. - Melissa | http://www.myspace.com/melcorr, Fri, 21 Mar 2008 6:45AM

Words really can not express the feelings stirred up in my heart. Sorrow over the loss of a great man and pride that there ever lived such a wonderful person. I wish I would have known him but I'm sure we'll meet one day. Part of me thinks that maybe God made a mistake in taking him home so soon, but then I read all the messages and look at all the lives he has touched in his passing and I realize that God had a greater plan than any that Chris or his family could have ever imagined. I hope more than anything that this realization can help your family cope with the loss of your son, brother, and friend. He really is amazing. Like Chris said, "[Death is] not the end of my life". Man, was he right! Thank you so much Chris for the light that you let shine so brightly through you and for the sacrifice you made for freedom and for love, and thank you Mason family for the gift that you helped bring into the world. I hope that when you look back at the films you have of him that you know that you helped shape who he was to become. Thank you again!! Blessings =). - Casandra Rodriguez | myspace.com/ladycasandra, Thu, 13 Mar 2008 9:48PM
I would just like to say that I think this page is a wonderful tribute to a man that so obviously loved God and his country. I have family members that were in the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. I sign this book in memory of my uncle who gave his life in Vietnam, my grandfather who served in both Korea and Vietnam, and my other family members that have made the choice to defend our great nation by joining the armed forces. God bless you all! - Jennifer Collins, Thu, 13 Mar 2008 3:40PM
First we would like to send our sincerest sympathies to the Mason family. Chris was such an amazing man, giving the ultimate sacrafice for his country. Chris is a hero to myself and to my family. We to have a son that is going to Iraq, and everyday I live in fear of what could happen to him, but I know of his faith in his lord and saviour, and pray that he makes it home safe. I would also like to say thank you to Chris, he is in our hearts daily. November 28, 2006 will be a day remembered by all, as the day we lost a very brave and amazing man but never lost his spirit thank you again chris. I wish I could actually put in words how much of an inspiration Chris is/has been/always will be to me. He is a true example of how people should live their lives. Death is always a tough thing to deal with, but God knew exactly what he was doing on November 28, 2006. Mr. and Mrs. Mason, I just want to let you know how sorry I am for the loss of Chris. I know it is a bit late but it has taken me this long to do so for various reasons. I remember that December day that I spoke with my son Aaron and I asked him if he knew "Chris Mason?" He said yes ma'am and at that time I noticed a whole change in his voice. Shortly thereafter, my son came home for bloc leave and his story begins. The day Chris died my son did as well. His struggles, with Chris' death, remain a battle in his mind and I know they will always be there. Although Aaron never went back after his bloc leave, he is still fighting the war in his head. Seems to be that Chris, although lower in rank, had the utmost respect of my son, which few men have been able to do. I know that Chris touched his life in more ways than one. He speaks of Chris trying to help him with his beliefs of God and that he got him into reading the bible. Although I do not know either of your personally, I cannot go through Mobile without having a total breakdown because I am thinking of your son and each time I see the sadness in my son's eyes, I know Chris is there. I never met Chris but I can am forever grateful for him witnessing to my son. Somehow I think that this has been the only thing that has kept Aaron going. Know that Chris has touched our lives in more ways than one. I only wish Chris was here for me to thank him personally. There is not a day that goes by that you and yours are not in my thoughts and prayers. May peace be with you. - Ellen Hunt, Thu, 6 Mar 2008 6:05PM
I am so sorry for your loss, I love the webpages you have for Chris, it shows the person behind his name,it shows the love of god and family, and in times like this, it is the strength that helps to carry us thru. We don't know why things like this had to happen and the only answer I have is God must've needed an Angel, and Chris was one angel who sure earned his wings. Gain strength that your son will always live on thru you. God Bless Lisa - Lisa, Wed, 5 Mar 2008 2:50PM

First of all let me say that I’m not a man of many emotions. Every time I view Chris’ page I get chill bumps and I well up with tears of pride for the man that he was and the great loss of a national hero that he truly is. I can’t explain it… I never knew your son but he has touched my soul in some way that I cannot explain and I see from the many comments from others that he has somehow touched them as well. To the Family of Chris: My heart breaks as I read about your son, but I know that you will see him again one day. And those of us who were not blessed to meet him on earth, if we are born again will get to meet him in Heaven. As I read the stories of soldiers killed in battle I am very thankful that there are those who will lay down thier lives for others. My brother is Air Force and I pray everyday for God to keep him and every soldier fighting safe and to bring them home safely when the battle is over. Chris' battle is over now, he is at home with Christ sitting at the feet of his Saviour and worshiping his God. Thank you for the sacrifice your son made for my freedom. We will never be able to repay those who chose to put thier lives on the line so that we can be free and live in the greatest country on earth. Your family will be in my prayers. Know that God is holding you up. Held, written by Christa Wells recorded by Natalie Grant "This is what it means to be held How if feels, when the sacred is torn from your life And you survive This is what it is to be loved and to know That the promise was that when everything fell We'd be Held" May God continue to hold you. - Michelle, Thu, 7 Feb 2008 8:59AM

I am lost for words as I go through the website and look at all the pictures. What an inspiration. We were a military family (Iraqi Freedom Veteran) and appreciate the love and support we recieve from those that are close to us. I can imagine how it feels to have the same love and support from ones you love and from those you have never met. I have a disabled 4 year old - and I dream of what he may accomplish one day. I have just finished reading the story of your sons life and also watching all the videos.I have to tell you learning all this about him has been an honor and being a friend on his page is even a bigger honor.Your son is a combination of all that is good and I think he touched on every emotion I have.It seems alot of people felt that way about him.I cannot being a military Mom myself imagine the loss you feel but I can understand what great pride you must have in the son you raised. The world was made a much better place by having him in it and now I am sure he is serving with just as much of himself in heaven.God bless him and keep him and God bless your family and all those troops that still fight the good fight for us to remain as Chris would have wanted it.Debby - Debby Cochran, Mon, 4 Feb 2008 8:27PM
Looking at the videos, reading Chris's words, I could not help but shed a tear, for a soldier so brave and pure. I cannot even imagine the grief and loss your family has endured this past 14 months. Your son was a fine young man, there is absolutely no doubt that he loved his family, his country, and his Lord. Even through the heartache your heart must swell with pride, for Chris was a great soldier on earth and now in heaven. May that give you some comfort when dealing with your pain. I admire and respect your son for what he stood for. May God bless you and your family. - Cheryl Langston, Sat, 2 Feb 2008 8:28PM
Dear Garland and Family, God must have needed another warrior in heaven the day that he chose Chris to join him in the almighty Army in Heaven. Thank you for the request. I am more than honored. Chris is an American Hero, his site is hard to look at though. I have a lump in my throat and my heart goes out to his family.I have 3 sons and all of them were in the Air Force before the Irag days. They are all out now, Chris was the same age as one of my sons. Although I pray for our troops I shamefully admit I did not pray daily for them. Hopefully everyone who sees Chris's site will be moved to pray earnestly and daily for our soldiers. I am so sorry for your loss and I am so glad you hold fast to the future of seeing Chris again in Heaven. That is a truth I wish every parent who has lost a son or daughter would come to know and take comfort in. I am so very sorry for the loss of your son. My husband is currently recieving his training at Gulfport, MS. He is due to ship out sometime in Febuary. We have two children together. They are 7 and 11. My heart goes out to you and everyone who has lost a loved one over there. I know it is very hurtful to watch my children in such pain because they are loosing their father for awhile.I am not sure how to comfort them and Lord knows I wish I could take away their pain. There are so many families that have had to say good bye and wonder if they would ever see their loved one again. Just like your son, MY husband feels it is his duty to defend our country. I will continue to keep you and your family and all families who have loved ones there in my prayers. Marisa Strong - marisa strong, Wed, 16 Jan 2008 8:27AM
I just want to thank Cpl Chris Mason for fighting for my freedom. It's such a tragedy that a life so young was wasted by the enemy. I too lost a child. My only child. And even though it was in a much different way as she was killed in an automobile accident, it doesn't lessen the pain of losing your child. I'll keep your family in my prayers. - Karen Allen | http://megan-allen.memory-of.com/, Tue, 15 Jan 2008 5:06PM
I am the mother of LCpl Seth Garrett Jones, USMC ~ (1981-2000). My son was killed in a training mission 7 years ago and our family knows your pain well. This website is an outstanding tribute to your son. Your story brought tears to my eyes and I just want you to know that in the last 7 years I have met folks who understand honor and those who are ignorant beyond measure. Those with honor stand by the memory of your son. Those who are ignorant are just that. However, both our boys died so that even the ignorant could have freedom. I have no doubt your son was met at the gates of heaven by a young Marine who welcomed him home with a warm embrace and encouraged him to carry on, heaven is all secure. They both stand at their new post, sharing stories and working together to make sure the streets of heaven are safe. They stand beside us and wrap their angel arms around us as we grieve, and when we smile as we remember their very essence in our lives. Please take care and know your son will not be forgotten. Always, Michele Fentriss, proud mom of LCpl Seth Garrett Jones, United States Marine (1981-2000) - Michele Fentriss, Tue, 15 Jan 2008 1:25PM
It angers me of the disrespect that you as a mother received from your workplace. Not only a mother but one of a soldier who we all should be thankful of. That quote its no different than losing a home to a fire, that home can be replaced. My grandfather(army) served and so did my father(navy)who has both passed away. I learned from them that once a soldier always a soldier. My family and I greatly support the soldiers. We salute you and pray for the safety of OUR Sons and Daughters. Words cannot express the sadness in my heart. I realize it has been over a year since your son passed away, but you see, I am a Marine momma. My son is just about to complete his third and final tour of defending our country. In our family, we pride ourselves on the fact that we will never forget those that gave their all. My son lost over 26 friends in Iraq. It hasn't been easy, but each time God blesses us with his presence, we are sure always to remember those that we less fortunate than us. May God bless you and your family, always and forever. - Sandra Hearn, Tue, 15 Jan 2008 11:28AM
Words cannot express the feelings I felt, when I read a bulletin about your son. With so much confusion in the world today, our soldiers are being forgotten. Your son was a man in every sense of the word, and we live free today because of him! I would like to say I'm sorry for your loss. I would also like to say Thank You for the sacrifice your son has made. I am the mother of four, one girl and three small boys. Your son has been an inspiration to my children and myself. I wish I would have known him. God bless you. We are all proud of Chris and grateful to him beyond measure. I just want to say how much I thank Cpl Chris Mason for his courage & sacrific for me, my kids, & this country! Without men & women like him this country would be lost! My daughter's father was also in the Army & I was ALWAYS scared we were going to lose him! Part of me wants to say that fortunately he was honorably discharged, but maybe that makes me sound selfish. I don't mean for it to by no means! I'm sure all spouses & family members feel that way sometimes! My ex still wishes that he hadn't been discharged because he, like Chris, wanted to fight for his country! Cpl Chris Mason's family will ALWAYS be in my prayers, along with all our other soldiers out there!!!!!!! Again THANK YOU Cpl Chris Mason!!!!!!!!! - Cynthia , Mon, 14 Jan 2008 9:42PM
As I sat looking at the videos of your son's life and death I was moved to tears, followed by great racking sobs, I am outraged by the callousness of the RiteAid corp. I live in a small town who has just gotten a RiteAid in the last six months.Needless to say I will not spend one more red cent of mine in that store. My heart goes out to your family, who have suffered so much, just to have another heartless corporation slap you in the face. If you derive even a small measure of comfort from this remember the Bible says that we reap what we sow. I wonder if the "big wigs" @ RiteAid have ever read our Lord's words? I never had the honor to meet your wonderful son, and my heart aches for your terrible loss. I do however feel priveleged to know that I can lay down in sleep in peace knowing that our fine sons and daughters fight for my freedom eveyday. My freedom is free to me, but it has cost some everything, I promise I will never forget that, or the wonderful HERO that your son was. May God comfort and keep you. - Shelly Sullivan, Mon, 14 Jan 2008 9:30PM
i too have had many a family member die for this country since the revolutionary war. i hurts my heart that some can be so callous and unfeeling when someone sacrifices their life so corporations can practice the freedom of being insensitive jerks. the part that brought tears to my eyes on his site was the quote "America he loved u so much he gave his life for u." nothing in my entire lifetime will EVER be able to express the pride and love i feel for our fighting warriors. me, my children, and their children until infinity will eternally be grateful. another to add to my heart. my heart is getting really heavy. - marie shea, Mon, 14 Jan 2008 4:27PM
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Mason, I am sorry for the loss of your son Chris and don't know what to say except that I believe in my heart that he is a true American Hero for standing up for our country in the war on terrorism. As a PGR member, I was honored to ride in procession at Chris's funeral. I was given the privilege of presenting a flag & military medal shadow box to Chris's parents at his gravesite and was fortunate enough to be invited to Chris's "Birthday Celebration" at his gravesite along with many of my PGR brothers and sisters. I did not know Christopher Mason when he stood on this earth, but I am proud to call him friend and I proudly wear a patch honoring him on my motorcycle helmet. Some Sunday mornings while out riding my bike, I find myself riding up to his gravesite, say hello, think about it all for a minute and a peace comes to me. As I leave Chris, I am much calmer then when I came. He is special in that way and I am certain that he was the same in real life. God bless you brother! God bless you both Mr. & Mrs. Mason. For me Chris will live on beside me for the rest of my days. HogChef aka ChefMike - Mike , Sun, 13 Jan 2008 9:18PM
WOW...what an awesome memorial for your son, who oh so deserves it! Like many others have said, I didn't know your son, but I am glad I had a chance to learn about him through this myspace profile. It gave me the chills to not only see how he was fighting for our country, but his great love for GOD!! I look up to him for his courage to fight for our country, but also, because I would love to be able to be so much stronger with my walk with God, just like your son. Look how it has been a little over a year since your son went to be with the Lord and he is still touching lives, the lives of us who didn't have the privelage of knowing him personally. To the Mason family... No words can express the meaning of your loss. No words can express the sacrifice your son gave to our country. No words can explain the responsibility of duty and honor your son displayed. I will never forget the sacrifice your son has given to me and our country. When I first dawned the uniform, each family member of our POW/MIAs became my family, each Gold Star Mother became my mother. Each of you are now a member of my family. Forever etched in my mind are the images of families just like yours that have given their sons and daughters for the freedom of people they will never know. The gift your son has given me will not be in vain, but ensures that America continues to be the "shining city on the hill" for the entire world to emulate. Through my work with the VFW and POW/MIAs, I promise that your sons memory will not be tarnished, but will be used as a great example of why American continues to be the "great democracy" of the world and the example the world wants to duplicate. God bless Chris and your family. I am proud to call him "brother", and I am proud to call you family. - Mike Surles | www.myspace.com/ncsentinel, Sun, 13 Jan 2008 7:02AM

Dear Mason Family & Friends! I did not have the pleasure to know your Chris, but it's obvious that he was an awesome person. I am merely writing you this Tribute as the mother of a soldier who has served one tour of duty in Iraq, and who will most likely return sooner than I would like. A tiny piece of my heart breaks off every time that I hear that one of our soldiers has been taken. I wrote a poem about a year ago while my son was in Iraq that I would like to share with you. I wrote it, just to remind myself that "angels were riding on his soldier". Now, your Chris is one of those Angels. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. You're so right!!! Chris will NEVER be forgotten! ANGELS ON HIS SHOULDER How gracefully they fly, and silently they flit, Watching and searching for just the right place to sit. To be there for someone who might need a helping hand, Could it be someone who is far away, fighting in another land? They found him, I knew they would and are carefully watching his back, He's my Son, he's my Hero, who's currently serving in Iraq. They've been keeping him safe for months and out of harms way, I wish I could thank them personally, but they'd all just fly away! So, each night as I say my prayers I ask that they continue to sit, On the shoulders of this Brave Soldier for just a little bit! All My Love, Sandy Conklin The VERY Proud Mother of: SPC Arthur J. Memories Those we love remain with us... in a whisper of the wind In a soft rain that falls from the heaven. In each sunrise In every single star that lights the night sky and in every single memory we hold within our hearts... By Mary Chandler Huff I dont know Chris but i feel i owe my life and freedom to him and i want the family to know that you will forever be in my prays that you find peace and know that Chris was fighting for what he believed in. and know that he is at home in peace with the lord. My brother just went over to Iraq last year and believes that he is fighting for a purpose and freedom the same as most men and women that are over there.. well i leave you with this poem to remind you that your son is your Guardian Angel and is always there.... I cannot see him, but i know he is there, he's your Gardian Angel, his life with me you share. Untill this time is over, and god want to bring you home, he will be there to protect you, when things sometimes go wrong........ - CJ, Sun, 6 Jan 2008 8:54PM
I pray that you and your family have PEACE, knowing that Chris' sacrifice was NOT in vain. My husband, Lt. Michael Gonzales is serving his second tour in Fallujah right now, and tells me that it is a 'completely different place' than it was two years ago. People are rebuilding their homes and businesses, and walking around without fear in the streets. More than this, my husband emphasizes that the CHILDREN he meets now in Iraq have never known the tyranny of Saddam Hussein and others like him. THESE CHILDREN may be able to comprehend and EMBRACE freeom & democracy, may be able to really reshape their whole country. Thank you so much for HONORING your son's gift to those children, and for publicly sharing your grief. While I know it must be overwhelming, your feelings do so much to help others HEAL, and I hope that this shared view will help you to heal, as well. As I sat here this evening, I tried so hard to find the words to say "Thank You to a fellow Brother In Arms", that has not been said already, and to let you know that it's soldiers like you that got me to join the Army, and I'm not very good with finding the "just right" emotional things to say , so I will just say that you will forever be missed by me and all of your brothers and sisters, and I will let this beautiful video I found say what it is that me and all of us , including your Family feel about you at this time of the Christmas Season. I know that you are now Permanently Deployed in Heaven , at the right hand of the Father, with all of your fellow brothers and sisters, and you now stand watch over all of us.Well, here is the video , and I hope it brings you a little closer to all of us and your family, Respectfully yours, PFC. To the Family and Friend of Corporal Chris Mason: My sincere condolences for the loss of your son and friend. From what I have learned from his life, he was a fine man. The loss of life of a man such as he is a tragedy. My only thought: At least he is with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I had the priveledge of knowing many much like him during my term of service in the USN. But no one is exactly alike or the same. My service was many years before Cpl Mason's time... Today was the first time I have thought of the fallen soldier. Being a new addition to the Army through my fiance is opening me eyes to many new experiences. Some more frightful than others. Thinking of the fallen like Cpl Chris Mason I wrote a prayer/poem. ---------------------------------------------------------- May he forever rest in peace and be forever at gods right hand for that is where soldiers sit for they died protecting their land. Always to be remembered and never far from home he makes sure your still safe and keeping things still going strong. So pray for fallen soldiers they hear you as you do and make sure to tell them thank you for they fought for others too. May you rest in peace Fallen soldier. ------------------------------------------------------------- My heart goes out to the family of Cpl Mason and to all the other families with fallen soldiers. Yes we say that they have now joined God's Army, but I believe in my heart that God would have a special place just for them. A place of honor and happiness. For that is what they deserve. My family thanks your family for the sacrifices you have made. Your son is one of a group of rare people who sacrifice wholeheartedly, for God and country. I think it's wonderful that he was so devoted to the Lord, and to give encouragement to all those who needed it. He is definitely up there amongst God's Angels, a leader, a warrior, and a hero. I feel safer knowing that not only are there heroes down here fighting for our freedom, but that there are heroes like him watching over our spiritual freedom. May God Bless your family always! - Clorice Reyes, Tue, 27 Nov 2007 8:16AM
For the precious family of Cpl Chris Mason, My loving prayers go out to you as another 'milestone' is passed. May Creator wrap you in His loving arms, surrounding you with His awesome love. We know the pain of losing a child. Our son, Ross, was killed in an auto accident on 2 Sept, '06. Ross left behind our only grandson, Hunter, who just turned 2. All of the 'firsts' we've faced together, joined with a deep faith and love of God, family and Country. The sheer pain of holding your child, clenched tightly in death's embrace, is nothing compared to the joy of knowing we WILL see him again. May all of our Heroes rest with the Angels. Until we meet on the other side I remain, Lynn Price PAM of PFC Justin/Ft. Benning PM of Ross, Our Angel "I am strong. I have no connections to Chris or his family. I was sent a link to his Myspace page, from an Army wife support group. But rest assured, Chris will be in my thoughts on the 28th, as well as every day from now on. . .all of our soldiers - fallen, deployed and those at home, hold a special place in my heart. And I truly hope that Cpl Mason is now resting peacefully. Take care & God bless. -Kristen - Kristen Basl | myspace.com/n0806, Mon, 26 Nov 2007 10:59PM
Chris, I have never met you, yet I know you are one of my heros. You selflessly served this country with pride and integrity. You paid the ultimate price for my freedom and I am forever grateful to you. I believe that there is no greater love that a man would lay down his life not only for his friends, but his country. Please watch over all of our men and women who continue to fight this war. You are a angel in fatigues, hero with military wings. You are a true American hero. Thank you for your service. You will not be forgotten. Proud Marine Wife, Jessica "Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American G.I. Some soldiers enlist, hoping to figure out what they were meant to be.. Some soldiers enlist because that is what they were born to be. Freedom is never free. It is obvious to me, Chris was a soldier before he ever chose to be. It is obvious to me because I was born free. If there was ever a trustworthy messenger who could carry our message to the throne of GOD himself, that is where I would expect to find Chris, adorned with the final judgement: "Well done good a faithful servant" God Bless Chris Mason. God Bless a loving family. God bless all who cross the path of these footsteps and stop to take notice, where one man stood for many and fell to a place in the heart of ALL soldiers. A place GOD understands quite well. For there is no greater love than he who would lay down his life for his brother. -An old Soldier - Doug Kendig | www.freewebs.com/dougkendig, Sun, 25 Nov 2007 4:44PM
