Our ratties are our children. We can not express how much we love and cherish these dogs. It's by the Lord's will that we are able to do the best for our babies and pray for his continued support with these magificent breeds. Our precious babies do not (and will never) reside in tiny pens all alone and forgotten about. They have quality time with us and play together as a pack, the way nature intended them to. They are always under supervision and we make sure each and every rattie is very happy here. We even hire a doggie-sitter when we must be gone for an extended amount of time.
All of our ratties are vet checked and very well cared for. We go the extra mile to keep our dogs happy, healthy and spoiled rotten! Each of our ratties are on monthly heartworm prevention and stay current on all vaccinations. They are fed Canidae ALS and we give Missing Link or NutriCal when suppliments are needed. We provide an endless supply of toys, treats and chew bones for our babies. Merrick brand chews are our favorite. We also use monthly tick and flea protection if needed, but we primarily use organic insect control on our property. PUPPIES!!! We Have Puppies. Also, see our upcoming litters below and contact us about being placed on the waiting list(s). All of our pups are born and raised inside our home.
Temperament tested, socialized, vaccinated, de-wormed, potty training started, and guaranteed healthy.
Each pup comes with a guarantee contract, medical record, pedigree, registration papers and puppy starter pack. Call or email us for more details and updated pics. We will even make a video if you are not able to visit us!
When a pup goes to his or her new family, we are in it for the long haul. We are faithfully committed to each and every pup and their new family. |

Rat Terriers (November 1, 2004)The Ratties!
Also called A-type Rat Terriers, this American breed is descendant from the Smooth Fox Terrier, Manchester Terrier and now extinct White English Terrier. Eventually these dogs were crossed with the Whippet, Italian Greyhound, Beagle and then Chihuahua for smaller sizes. They are sometimes referred to as Feists for their hunting abilities. The Rat Terrier is unsurpassed in intelligence and loyalty, with a very personable and loving temperament. They strive to please and will be a beloved family member as well as your best friend. They can look into your eyes clear through to your soul. |

Teddy Roosevelt Terriers (November 1, 2004)The Teddies! Also known as B-type Rat Terriers, the Teddy is the short legged version named after President Theodore Roosevelt. They were recognized as a separate breed by the United Kennel Club, Inc. in 1999. However, they are still pure Rat Terrier with all the same wonderful attributes and personality. Everything you would expect in a rattie, just in a shorter package!The bloodlines we have here come from several generations of Teddy Terriers. They are some of the oldest lines we could find with the quality we were looking for. We thank the Lord for leading us to them and we are thrilled to have them here! |

Decker Rat Terriers (November 1, 2004)The Deckers!
The Decker strain of Rat Terrier, a.k.a. Decker Giant, began development around 1970 by a man named Milton Decker. He started it all with a Rat Terrier named Henry that weighed about 32 pounds. From Oregon, he search as far as Texas, Kansas and Mississippi to find the largest and finest breeding stock Rat Terriers. The dogs he produced were excellent hunters and loyal companions with natural instinct which required no or little training. Average weight can range from 22-40 pounds. |

Benji (June 2, 2007)Benji
Benji is a Sever Macaw and the newest addition to our family. He has an extensive vocabulary and a neat personality. Benji can sing the Batman theme song. He also loves to "Quack Quack" like a duck and "Meow" like a cat. The rats have taught him to bark and growl quite realistically. He is now an honorary Rat Terrier! Some of his favorite snacks include papaya, Nutriberries, almonds, mac and cheese, Cheetoes and Captain Crunch. Basically, if we eat it, he wants it too! |
