DragonCon 2008 (August 28-September 1, 2008)| DragonCon 2008 - I must say my favorite DCon so far!!! (out of 5 or so) For various reasons, the main one being my sweet and wonderful and sexy Jason in his hot and traiterous Spartan Senator-ness (and Luchador-ness). It was great to meet all the 300DC guys and girls and get to hang out with the "regulars" as well (you know who you are). I can't believe it'll be a whole year before we get to descend upon the Marriott and Hyatt again. This... is... ATLANTAAAAAAH! |

Orlando Disney SWW 2008 (June 5-9, 2008)Because it was so much fun (and such an "interesting" experience) last year, I decided to go down to Orlando again this year for the first of the Star Wars weekends! Jason met up with me there and it turned out to be a wonderful weekend.

Arisia 2008 (January 19, 2008)| So I was missing my old NEG buddies (and Albin) this weekend so I took a bus up to Boston with Giacomo from the Italica Garrison (who's in NYC for a UN internship until March). I was lame and needed a nap half way through the day (I don't function very well if I don't get my 8 hours of sleep) but the night was fun :) Got to meet my Spartan buddy EJ and some other Spartans, too, and Giacomo had his first ever Irish Car Bomb! |

DragonCon 2007 (August 30-September 3, 2007)Another year, another DragonCon - this one seemed different somehow... maybe because so many "regulars" were conspicuously absent this time! Or maybe after a great C4 and fun CE I had just gotten my expectations up too much. BUT it was still a good time overall and I got to see many friends I don't usually get to see much. AND I learned something integral about myself - I have P.O.'s! (ask me to tell you that story some time...)

Celebration Europe (July 21, 2007)| So Albin, Kathy and Dave happened to be going to Germany at the same time I was in Germany (ok, no coincidence really :) ) and I got to meet them at least twice while they were being handed around the various German Garrison Squads - once for a medieval dinner at the Kauzenburg and once in Cologne for a Dinner with the White Shadows Squad. Then we all hopped on a bus for a loooooooong ride to London for Celebration Europe. That was fun for about 2 hours, until my butt started to hurt! Then, because Al, Kathy and I are such sissies, we stayed in one of the con hotels rather than in the youth hostel which was an hour away, and which turned out to be a smart decision since it much alleviated the stress of partying at night :D Good times were had by all, and I will miss all my German friends very dearly until next year :( Thank you for a wonderful weekend at "home". |

Celebration IV (May 24-29, 2007)| So, from what I remember this was a very cool long weekend. Except I was drinking so much that much of it is VERY hazy in my memory! :D I don't even remember taking some of these pictures. It was wonderful to see my friends again and to meet new ones (apparently I had to meet a few of them two or three times before I could remember them, haha) and I'm looking forward to seeing many of you again soon in Europe and Atlanta. And I'll have that shirt made for the day after: Sorry, I just don't remember you, courtesy of Mai Tai. Next time, less alcohol, but other than that, I'd do it all over again :) Please leave comments! And remember - May 27, 2017 - save the date! ;) |
