Antigua 2004
Photos from our Antigua 2004 vacation 08/03 - 08/12.  Antigua has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year!  We rented a car for one day and drove the western part of the island, so most of the photos were from that day.

A statue of VC Bird in front of the public market.  As you can see, this was taken inside our rental car.  The streets of St. Johns is very congested, much like any downtown in an urban area.

We stumbled upon this beautiful beach where there were quite a few locals enjoying the warm sands and clear water.  It was right by Cocobay, and someone said it was Cocobay Beach.

Flamboyant tree.  These trees can be found around the island.  When they are in full bloom, they are full of these red, gorgeous flowers.
