Here are pictures of the finer theatres in Idaho, some still with us, some now gone! Most are faithful NTE customers! 12-01-05 I had to close the guestbook due to spammers, sorry!

The beautifully restored Egyptian Theatre in Boise, Idaho Built 1926, features a Robert Morton pipe organ.

Egyptian projection room
featuring 35/70 mm projection,
magnetic stereo sound, Dolby stereo and digital sound, and
16mm projection also. Set up for two projector 3-D and silent speed for use with the theatre organ.

The Blue Fox theatre, Garingeville, Idaho. Family owned since construction in the 1930s.

NTE upgraded the projection lamps from Strong Utility to the Peerless Magnarc! Lots more light on the screen! Projectors are Brenkert 100s, and RCA 1050 soundheads!

The Roxy in Cascade, Idaho is a classic remodel / renovation of a mid 30s theatre!

The Idan-Ha drive in is the companion to the Idan-Ha theatre in Soda Springs, Idaho.

The Projector is a Simplex XL with RCA-9030 soundhead, ORC 4KW lamp. Potts platter, and FM sound!

The screen tower is constructed of Masonry blocks! With large pilasters poured solid concrete! I don't think the Idaho winds will harm this one!!

The Idan-Ha theatre (Indoor) is modern and has Century C with Simplex SH-1000 and DTS digital sound and Ultra Stereo sound! The ORC M-1000 lamp was recently replaced with a 1.6KW Xelamp by NTE.

The Shoshone Showhouse, in Shoshone, Idaho an old house dating to the pre 1920s. It had a 20 room hotel above the theatre! Used by railroad crews!

The Star theatre, Weiser, Idaho. Formerly the Four-Star, it has carbon arc, Motiograph AA on Western Electric 208 soundheads! and Kelmar mono-sound. It had a magnasynch four track magnetic
system at one time! The motor-generator for the arc lamps is above the sign on the outside of the building!

Original carbon arc booth! Theatre was built in 1918. I had the job of removing the equipment after the auditorium roof collapsed winter of 1999/2000

It was a family owned theatre!
The lateste upgrades were always made! Like these Simplex Xls! and the last model Peerless Magnarc lamps!

The theatre has been closed since 1972! Thus, the original RCA sound system (Circa 1930s)
had never been replaced!
