HISTORY of Florenza

1 One of my favorites I especially like this one because of the griffins. Exceptional detail! Private Collection	2 Circus Series The clown is my favorite of this series. The series also included a dancing poodle and a pony. They were made in two colors of each style. Private Collection	3 Circus Series Pony. There were variations made.	4 Jeweled Clock This design was used in many of their vanity pieces. The lipstick holder and the trinket box are 2 that come to mind.
5 Borgia Pill Rings These were marketed as Borgia Pill Rings. They came out before the solid perfume rings. These are also known as poison rings. Private Collection	6 Another Borgia Ring or Poison Ring	7 Wrapped Rings Larry Kasoff called these wrapped rings - the 4 with very large stones encased in 24K plated goldtone. I put the other blue one in this group because of the size of the stone. Private Collection	8 Cobalt Blue Cloisonette Lipstick Holder Cloisonette was Florenza's exclusive technique. Colors have been seen in blue, red and green. Private Collection

13 Florenza Matchboxes Private Collection	14 Florenza Letter Holder Several variances of letter holders were produced. I had the snake letter holder in the past. Private Collection	15 Magnifier & Rotary Phone Dialer This darling piece served two purposes. It's a magnifier on one end and on the other end it's a rotary phone dialer! 45 Red Cloisonette - Victorian Flair!	46 Pretty in Pinks Glittery art cabochons in iridescent shades. French Gold finish.	47 Bangles Unsigned moonstone cabochon bangles. 49 The Heirloom Line Sadly, This Heirloom line was never produced. It was the last collection of Florenza before Larry Kasoff's automobile accident in 1981. A similar set was featured in the 1995 VFCJ article on Florenza. 53 Saphiret Close Up	54 From the Florenza Boutique Line: Poodle Pin Cushion Nodders. One is 24k gold plated and the other has their French white antiqued finish.	55 Back of French white one - see the lever. When tapped - it springs and moves quickly.	56 Same construction as the French white one in the previous photo.
57 Florenza Turtle nodder - this one sways back and forth. Click on pic for closeup	58 Florenza Turtle Pin Signed Florenza turtle pin. Fancy gold tone metal with cloisonne technique or resin like tortoise spots on his back. I have a brooch very like # 23 and have always wondered if it was worth anything. It is blue enamel surrounded by seed pearls and "gold" and a cluster of seed pearls in the middle of the enamel No tassles though

i have a set of florenza - nothing like anything that is shown on this page. the set includes a turquois, opal, and moon stone choker, bracelet and earrings. i have no idea what these are worth, can anyone point me in the right direction please? thanks!

i have the florenza propelling pencil same design as the pen. Ive had it about 20 years, bought from a local antique shop here in Whitby, UK. Only today did i notice the name FLORENZA on it so decided to see if i could find out more about it. What pretty pieces were made and now i want more!!

Just picked up a ring box or a small trinket box. Not sure what it is exactly. It has Florenza on the bottom so I decided to look it up on the internet. I very surpised at all the different items. Now I need to just find out exactly what it is I bought and the value of it.

I am intrigued....did Florenza ever sell it's line in a store called Street's? It seems that they had charm bracelets that attached with a spring clip and the clown was what started me thinking about that jewelry. It was movable charms and they were in silver and perhaps gold filled Anyone know? Street's was in Midwest City, Oklahoma and it was right next to Peyton Marcus...I don't know if they were associated with Neiman Marcus.
