Welcome to Misty Valley Rat Terriers. Our dogs are raised in a home environment. We don't have very many litters but when available, we offer some for sale as family companions. Most of all we enjoy showing our dogs and sharing this amazing dog with others. They are a joy to show in the conformation ring, excel at performance events such as agility, obedience, terrier races and weight pulling, just to name a few. The Rat Terrier makes a wonderful pet, working farm dog, baby sitter and protector of your children. Your dog will enjoy being your best friend that will go hiking with you during the day who will then curl up on the coach in the evenings to watch TV with you. Here at Misty Valley Rats we strive to breed healthy well tempered loving pets and show prospects. We have started OFA testing our dogs at the appropriate age. Our dogs are UKC (United Kennel Club) and AKC/FSS (American Kennel Club) registered. All puppies are born and raised in our home so mom and pups are given the utmost care and love. When our puppies are old enough to go outside, they get to explore and play on our farm which is located in a beautiful valley in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

****ATTENTION**** Jack won 2 Champion and 2 Reserve Champions at the Perry Georgia show May 5-7 2006. One more magor and Jack will be a Grand Champion. Jack had the honer of winning a champion class at the Kalamazoo premier on 6/17/05 and getting interviewed by OLN TV. which well be aired this Sept. Jack became a Champion his first week end out at the Perry Georgia show May 6-8, 2005 We're very proud of this little boy.

Blu Granded March 18, 2005 at the Carolina Classic. He's a very gentle and loving boy just like his father. Strong ball drive, loves children and other animals.

***Two of blu’s coated carrier offsprings, Paxton and Mako went to their first show. Paxton won 3 breeds and won her championship in one weekend. Paxton also won a group 2 over a pit and a Rat Terrier, and went on to win a group 3 and 4. Mako won breed and finished with a group 4.

***BIG NEWS*** At the Perry, Ga. show May 18th--20th Vega got her Championship and took another champion class toward her grand.
***ATTENTION*** At the Great Smoky MTN. Dog show in Simpsonville NC. Nov. 5th Vega won the Best of Variety and the Best of Breed. First time showing. !4 1/2" tall 22 lbs.

We believe that the Holy Bible is entirely inspired by the Spirit of God. That Jesus Christ, "Yeshua", is the only begotten son of God, the Messiah, concieved by the Holy Spirit. Born of the virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is, today, sitting at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor. Misty Valley's Morgan (May 1, 2008)Retired champion
Morgan was our foundation bitch who went on to give us our beautiful Vega. Morgan gave us three litters of which her daughter Vega will carry on her legacy.
Prior to retiring and spaying Morgan, our vet on April 8, 2008 gave her a clean bill of health. She will now live the life of a pampered pet and companion.
Morgan is a mini Black, Tan and White erect eared Rat Terrier, standing at 12 inches and 12 lbs. and produced both mini's and standards.
